Police looking a suspect in Walmart theft

The Lewisburg Police Department is looking for a man who stole nearly $2,000 worth of items from the Walmart in Lewisburg.  Security cameras show the man placing items from the electronics department in a box containing a car seat. Fayette County man arrested on gun charges

A Fayette County man has been arrested on domestic and gun charges.   Andrew T. Hicks, 31 of Edmond,  was arrested on warrants following a domestic incident. The complaint alleges that  Hicks brandished a handgun on someone while traveling in a vehicle when the passenger attempted to get out, and threatened to kill them. New Executive Director of Development Authority named for Mercer County

John D. O'Neal will become the New Executive Director of the Development Authority of Mercer County, pending approval of the county commission.  O'Neal currently serves on Governor Jim Justice's senior staff and legislative liaison.  O'Neal served in the state legislature from 2011 to 2017.

Three Oak Hill men arrested on weapons charges

Police have arrested three men in  Oak Hill on felony weapons violations.  According to a release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, a deputy near the Shilo Mobile Home Court near Oak Hill heard gunshots from within Shilo.
