Police looking a suspect in Walmart theft

The Lewisburg Police Department is looking for a man who stole nearly $2,000 worth of items from the Walmart in Lewisburg.  Security cameras show the man placing items from the electronics department in a box containing a car seat. The man then paid for the car seat and some food items,  but did not pay for the items hidden in the box.  Police say that the same person stole about $1,000 in merchandise the same way from a Walmart in Fayetteville.  Both ...

Three Oak Hill men arrested on weapons charges

Police have arrested three men in  Oak Hill on felony weapons violations.  According to a release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, a deputy near the Shilo Mobile Home Court near Oak Hill heard gunshots from within Shilo.
